...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN KNOX...JEFFERSON...
SOUTHEASTERN UNION...NORTHWESTERN SEVIER...WESTERN GRAINGER AND WEST
CENTRAL HAMBLEN COUNTIES THROUGH 215 PM EDT...

At 125 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles south of Plainview, or 10 miles northeast of Knoxville, moving
east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Knoxville, Morristown, Sevierville, Jefferson City, Dandridge,
Rutledge, Plainview, New Market, Strawberry Plains, and Blaine.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
