...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Minnesota
and Wisconsin...

  Cottonwood River Above Springfield affecting Brown County.

  Cottonwood River at New Ulm affecting Brown County.

  Cannon River at Northfield affecting Rice and Dakota Counties.

  Minnesota River at Savage affecting Hennepin, Carver, Dakota and
  Scott Counties.

  Minnesota River at Henderson MN19 affecting Sibley, Le Sueur and
  Scott Counties.

  Minnesota River near Jordan affecting Sibley, Carver and Scott
  Counties.

  Minnesota River at Morton affecting Redwood and Renville Counties.

  Mississippi River near Hastings L/D 2 (COE) affecting Pierce,
  Washington and Dakota Counties.

...The Flood Warning is cancelled for the following rivers in
Minnesota...

  Mississippi River at St. Paul affecting Washington, Dakota and
  Ramsey Counties.

.Recent rainfall has led to brief rises across southern Minnesota.
Any additional shower and thunderstorm chances through mid-week
will further delay the eventual recession back into action stage
later this week.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

  river in downtown Northfield. Riverwalk on west side of town
  begins to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 830 PM CDT Sunday, the stage was 897.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 830 PM CDT Sunday was 897.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    late this evening and continue falling to 894.6 feet Friday
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 897.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    896.3 feet on 09/06/2018.

* WHEN...From late tonight to early Wednesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Flood waters begin to impact low lying
  areas...and some roads along the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 800 PM CDT Sunday, the stage was 10.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late tonight to a crest of 11.4 feet tomorrow evening. It
    will then fall below flood stage Tuesday evening.
  - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    11.4 feet on 05/29/2012.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 703.3 feet

    flood stage Friday evening.
