...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Minnesota...

  Minnesota River at Savage affecting Carver, Dakota, Scott and
  Hennepin Counties.

  Minnesota River near Jordan affecting Carver, Sibley and Scott
  Counties.

.River levels continue to fall across the region. Upcoming rain
chances may slow river level recession, but should not lead to
rising levels.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Minnesota River at Savage.

* WHEN...Until Tuesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 705.0 feet, Flood waters begin to impact the park
  road at Fort Snelling State Park.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 800 PM CDT Friday, the stage was 703.9 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 800 PM CDT Friday was 704.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    Monday evening and continue falling to 699.1 feet Friday,
    July 19.
  - Flood stage is 702.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    703.7 feet on 04/08/1984.

  problems.

  - At 745 PM CDT Friday, the stage was 25.7 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 745 PM CDT Friday was 25.8 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    Monday morning and continue falling to 22.5 feet Friday, July
    19.
  - Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
