...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM TO 9 PM PDT MONDAY...

.DISCUSSION...Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible across
the fire on Monday afternoon and evening, although the most abundant lightning
should be to the east and south of the fire. It is worth noting that the storms
can create gusty winds to 35 mph which can travel relatively far distances
from the thunderstorm that created them. Otherwise, expect typical hot summer
days with dry humidities and breezy winds. Winds will be relatively light in
the mornings and increase in the afternoons. Recoveries will be moderate
through the week, but a marine push could help increase the recoveries
particularly after Tuesday.

Sky/weather.........Mostly Sunny. Haze through the day. A 20 percent
                    chance of showers and thunderstorms from 5 pm until
11 pm. New accumulations will be light up to 0.03
inches possible.
Max temperature.....97 to 99 degrees.
Min humidity........16 to 20 percent.
Eye level winds.....North 0 to 1 mph becoming 1 to 3 mph in the
afternoon.
Wind (20 ft)........North 0 to 2 mph becoming 3 to 5 mph in the
                    afternoon. Gusty, quickly shifting winds to 35 mph
                    near thunderstorms.

LAL.................1 until 1700, then 2.

.MONDAY NIGHT...

Sky/weather.........Mostly clear with a 20 percent chance of showers
and thunderstorms through 11 pm. New accumulations
will be light.
