...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northeastern Palm
Beach County through 415 PM EDT...

At 337 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking
a strong thunderstorm 8 miles east of Canal Point. This storm was
nearly stationary.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 45 to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
West Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, Royal Palm Beach, North County
Airport, Loxahatchee Groves, Lion Country Safari Park, The Acreage,
Caloosa, Philo Farms, and Jupiter Farms.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Funnel clouds occasionally touch down and produce tornadoes or
waterspouts. Move indoors and stay away from windows.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
