Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the region
over the next several days.

As a warm front slowly pushes northward away from the area,
hot and humid conditions will continue across the area through
Wednesday. A cold front will approach late Wednesday into
Thursday, providing slightly better chances of showers and
thunderstorms. This frontal system will stall nearby into the
first half of the weekend, which will increase rainfall chances,
especially closer to the coast. The stationary front will
dissipate over the weekend with a broad area of high pressure
building over the eastern United States Sunday into early next
week.
