An Excessive Heat Warning is in effect for the Fredericksburg area and Southern Maryland. A Heat Advisory is in effect elsewhere. Special Marine Warnings may be needed this evening as strong thunderstorms move across portions of the waters. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday Hot and humid conditions likely continue Saturday. Scattered severe thunderstorms are possible Saturday afternoon and evening. Damaging wind gusts are the primary threat.
