.NOW...
Thunderstorms are expected to increase in coverage an intensity
through 5 PM. At 3:30 PM...a boundary was located from Plains to
Wellman to Lamesa. This boundary will be the focus for storm
development. The stronger storms will be capable of brief heavy
rainfall as well as wind gusts to 50 mph. as they move south near
10 mph.

Other storms will be possible further north across the South
Plains. The threat from these storms are expected to be lower and
more scattered.
