This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the South Plains, Rolling
Plains, and the far Southern Texas Panhandle.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Isolated thunderstorms will be possible across portions of the
extreme southwestern Texas Panhandle and South Plains this morning.
Locally heavy rainfall will accompany the strongest storms and the
severe weather threat is low.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

A strong cold front will move through the region late Sunday into
Monday. There is an increasing potential for heavy rainfall across
the Rolling Plains on Sunday night with thunderstorm chances
extending onto the Caprock Escarpment as the cold front moves
southward. This will lead to a risk for flash flooding, especially
across the Rolling Plains. Some storms may also be severe with
damaging winds being the primary hazard.

Additional chances for thunderstorms remain forecast across the
Caprock and Rolling Plains on Monday to Wednesday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
