This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Showers and storms will continue to move through southwest Nebraska
into the early afternoon. Locally heavy rainfall and occasional
lightning are the primary hazards

Ordinary thunderstorms are possible across western and north central
Nebraska today. The risk of severe weather is low.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Hot weather will begin spreading into western Nebraska Friday and
continue Saturday. The latest forecast is for heat indices in the
mid to upper 90s.
