Heat impacts are expected on Tuesday due to the combination of high temperatures in the 90s in most areas and dewpoints around 70. This will result in heat indices ranging from the upper 90s to nearly 105. The heat will be most impactful to those in heat- sensitive industries, as well as for vulnerable populations such as the elderly, young children and infants, as well as pets. Please use proper heat precautions such as drinking plenty of water and seeking shade when outdoors for prolonged periods of time.
