...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WESTERN RANKIN AND EASTERN
HINDS COUNTIES THROUGH 500 PM CDT...
At 424 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Pearl. This thunderstorm was nearly stationary.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Jackson, Pearl, Byram, Flowood, Richland, and Monterey.
