NORTHWESTERN SMITH...SCOTT...EAST CENTRAL HINDS AND SOUTHEASTERN
MADISON COUNTIES THROUGH 145 PM CDT...

At 1227 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Lena to near Richland. Movement was
southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Jackson, Pearl, Brandon, Richland, Branch, Leesburg, and Forkville
  around 1230 PM CDT.
  Monterey around 1235 PM CDT.
  Florence and Pelahatchie around 1240 PM CDT.
  Morton and Hillsboro around 1245 PM CDT.
  Star around 1255 PM CDT.
  Forest around 100 PM CDT.
  Pulaski around 105 PM CDT.
  Johns and Piney Woods around 110 PM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
