...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN JASPER...SOUTHEASTERN
SMITH...NORTHEASTERN COVINGTON AND NORTHERN JONES COUNTIES THROUGH
345 PM CDT...

At 247 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Sylvarena, or near Bay Springs, moving southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

This strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Bay Springs, Taylorsville, and Stringer around 250 PM CDT.
  Moss and Vernon around 305 PM CDT.
  Laurel and Soso around 310 PM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
