This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

A few hit-or-miss showers and thunderstorms remain possible
overnight across central, south-central, and southeast Kansas, but
widespread activity is not expected. The strongest activity will be
capable of brief heavy rain and gusty winds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Slight chances for thunderstorms will linger across far southern
and southeast Kansas on Monday and far southeast Kansas on Tuesday.
A locally strong storm and some with heavy rainfall is possible.

Heat indices are expected to climb by the end of the week to around
100 degrees during the afternoon hours on Saturday.
