This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Heat indices will range from 104 to 109 degrees on Monday afternoon
and early evening. Refer to the latest Heat Advisory statement for
details and safety information.

Heat indices could still climb into the 100 to 104 degree range on
Tuesday afternoon for areas of south central and southeast Kansas
closer to the Oklahoma border.

Chances for thunderstorms will develop across central Kansas on
Monday evening and Monday night with chances areawide by Tuesday
night. A few strong to marginally severe storms will be possible
along with scattered areas of locally heavy rainfall.

Chances for thunderstorms will linger into Wednesday before ending
by late Wednesday night with chances returning for areas west of
the Kansas Turnpike by Friday night and Saturday.
