.DISCUSSION...A surge of tropical moisture will provide for
scattered showers and thunderstorms across the Sierra Nevada
through Sunday evening. Since these thunderstorms are
moisture deficient, dry lightning will remain possible and
a Red Flag Warning will continue. A cooling trend will take
place across the area through the middle of next week with
drier conditions becoming more predominant by Tuesday.
