...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 415 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Texas, including the following
  counties, Fort Bend, Harris, Montgomery and Waller.

* WHEN...Until 415 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 212 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Bellaire, Humble, West University Place, Katy, Jersey
    Village, Hunters Creek Village, Bunker Hill Village, Piney
    Point Village, Spring Branch North, Spring Branch West,
    Spring Valley, Addicks Park Ten, Memorial Park, Afton Oaks /
    River Oaks Area, Greater Heights, Eldridge / West Oaks,
    Greenway / Upper Kirby Area, Greater Greenspoint, Northside /
    Northline and Aldine.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
