...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN ANDROSCOGGIN...
NORTHEASTERN CUMBERLAND AND NORTHWESTERN SAGADAHOC COUNTIES THROUGH
730 PM EDT...

At 642 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Auburn, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Lewiston, Auburn, Brunswick, Topsham, Freeport, Lisbon, Durham,
Bowdoin, Sabattus, Poland, New Gloucester, and Minot.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 295 between mile markers 25 and 30.
 Interstate 95 between mile markers 72 and 87.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
