...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS APPROACHING THE WATERS OF GREEN BAY...

The areas affected include...

Central and Southern Bay of Green Bay...

At 1110 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from 8 nm west of Minneapolis Shoal to
9 nm west of Long Tail Point Light, moving northeast at 25 knots.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Marinette, Oconto, Pensaukee, and Little Suamico around 1115 AM
  CDT.
  Chambers Island around 1140 AM CDT.
  Peshtigo Reef Light around 1200 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by strong thunderstorms include Pensaukee,
Little Suamico, and Sister Bay.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.

These strong thunderstorms will likely produce winds to around 30
knots, and could pose a serious hazard for boaters. A special marine
warning may eventually be required when these strong thunderstorms
reaches the nearshore waters. Boaters should consider heading for
shore before these strong thunderstorms arrives.
