...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL CHEYENNE COUNTY IN
EAST CENTRAL COLORADO THROUGH 430 PM MDT...

At 403 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Kit Carson, or 21 miles west of Cheyenne Wells, moving southeast at
30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of south central
Cheyenne County in east central Colorado.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in Goodland.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for
east central Colorado.
