...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT WESTERN KIT CARSON COUNTY THROUGH
715 PM MDT...

At 645 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 5 miles northwest of Cope to 6 miles northeast
of Arriba to 7 miles west of Hugo. Movement was southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Flagler around 655 PM MDT.

This includes Interstate 70 in Colorado between mile markers 391 and
406.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in Goodland.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for
northeastern and east central Colorado.
