...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN WICHITA COUNTY
THROUGH 300 AM CDT...

At 242 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 5 miles northwest of Modoc
to 12 miles southeast of Leoti. Movement was east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

These storms will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern
Wichita County, including the following locations... Marienthal and
Lydia.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
