.DISCUSSION...Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will
favor areas along and north of I-70 today with decreasing coverage
as drier air begins to work into the area. Some storms could be
strong with gusty winds, small hail, frequent lightning and brief
heavy rain possible. The flooding threat will decrease today but
still remain possible. Only isolated showers and storms are
expected Thursday and Friday with drier air in place. Unsettled
weather looks to return late this weekend into next week.
