This is the regional weather summary for the eastern two-thirds
of Montana, southern Saskatchewan, and western North Dakota.

A large, broad area of upper level ridging will remain anchored
over the area through the upcoming weekend. This pattern will
generate extremely warm temperatures through Sunday, with triple
digit temperatures in some areas.

Isolated showers and thunderstorms can be expected tonight for
much of the area. Thunderstorms will be isolated to scattered
across extreme northeast Montana and along the North Dakota and
Canadian borders Friday afternoon and evening. The areal coverage
of showers and storms increases to include much of northeast
Montana on Saturday.

Tonight, low temperatures will range the lower 60s to lower 70s.

Friday, high temperatures will range from the upper 80s to lower
100s.

Friday night, low temperatures will range from around 60 degrees to
the upper 60s.
