...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT GILA...NAVAJO AND COCONINO
COUNTIES THROUGH 515 PM MST...

At 437 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Horton Springs to near Chediski Mountain.
Movement was west at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Horton Springs, Bear Flat, Haigler Creek, Willow Springs Canyon
Lake, Woods Canyon Lake, Tonto Village, Chediski Mountain, Chediski
Peak, Star Valley, Young, Christopher Creek, Tonto Estate, Bear
Canyon Lake, Mogollon Rim Visitor Center, and Kohls Ranch.

This includes the following highways...
 State Route 288 between mile markers 296 and 311.
 State Route 260 between mile markers 255 and 288.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
