...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT GILA...APACHE AND NAVAJO
COUNTIES THROUGH 200 PM MST...
At 125 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Alchesay Fish Hatchery, or 26 miles south of Show Low, moving west at
20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Whiteriver, Whiteriver Airport, Kinishba Ruins, Rainbow City, Round
Top Mountain, Alchesay Fish Hatchery, North Fork, Deer Spring
Mountain, Kelly Butte, and East Fork.
This includes State Route 73 near mile marker 329, and between mile
markers 337 and 350.
