.DISCUSSION...
No hazardous fire weather conditions are expected at this time.
Winds and relative humidity values will remain outside of critical
thresholds.
Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will develop both
this afternoon and Sunday afternoon with the highest coverage
generally situated south a stalled frontal boundary extending near
the I-85 corridor. Rainfall totals through Sunday will broadly
range from 0.25-1" in these areas, though locally higher totals
can be expected. Minimum RH values will range from 40-65% with the
lowest values in north Georgia. Expect heat index values as high
as 105-110 degrees in central Georgia this afternoon. Winds will
be NW to W today and light at 4-8 mph, becoming E to SE on Sunday.
