.DISCUSSION...

Abundant moisture remains in place across Southern New Mexico and
Far West Texas. Daytime heating and orographic lift will allow for
another round of scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms
across the region today. Expect a lot of clouds, with midday breaks.
Temperatures will again be cooler than average. Winds will be
generally light and favor an easterly direction. Remember the
potential for erratic and gusty storm outflow winds. Flooding will
again be a threat today.  For the rest of the week, still some rain
and storm chances, but the trend down as we see drier air begin to
work in from the north.
