...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...A portion of south central New Mexico, including the
  following areas, East Slopes Sacramento Mountains Below 7500 Feet
  and Sacramento Mountains Above 7500 Feet.

* WHEN...Through this evening.

* IMPACTS...Heavy rainfall could trigger flash flooding of low-lying
  areas, urbanized street flooding, and debris flows in and near
  recent wildfire burn scars.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Showers and thunderstorms will be capable of producing
    localized heavy rainfall rates near 1 to 2 inches per hour.
    Areas within and downstream of wildfire burn scars will be
    most susceptible to rapid runoff and flash flooding. This
    includes the South Fork and Salt fire burn scars.
