At 848 PM CDT, a severe squall line capable of producing both tornadoes and extensive straight line wind damage was located along a line extending from Dalzell to near Lake Wildwood, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. Locations impacted include... Hennepin, Spring Valley, DePue, Granville, Ladd, Dalzell, Bureau Junction, McNabb, Putnam, Mark, Seatonville, Magnolia, Standard, Hollowayville, Coal Hollow, Ottville, Lake Thunderbird, and Florid. This includes the following highways... Interstate 80 in Illinois near mile marker 59, and between mile markers 66 and 72. Interstate 180 between mile markers 1 and 13.
