...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM APPROACHING THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
  Inner Saginaw Bay SW of Point Au Gres to Bay Port MI...

At 716 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated numerous showers and
thunderstorms, capable of producing winds up to 30 knots and cloud
to ground lightning. This thunderstorm was located near Linwood, or
10 nm west of The Mouth Of The Saginaw River, moving northeast at 25
knots.

The strong thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds up to 30 knots, locally higher waves,
and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately
until this storm passes.
