This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for much of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight

There will be chances for thunderstorms over the northwest third
of the state this afternoon, and the entire state tonight. A few
storms may be strong to severe with wind and hail west during the
evening. Locally heavy rains are possible southwest as well.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Chances for a few thunderstorms lingers into Sunday and Monday,
but the severe weather potential is low. There are only a few
spotty chances for storms next week as well, and the severe
weather potential remains low through that time.

Spotters may be needed briefly later today and this evening.
