...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN SCOTT AND
SOUTHWESTERN LANE COUNTIES THROUGH 930 PM CDT...

At 905 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Shallow Water, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern Scott
and southwestern Lane Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
west central Kansas. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch also remains in
effect until midnight CDT for southwestern Kansas.
