Issued by NWS Cheyenne, WY
Issued by NWS Cheyenne, WY
467 FNUS55 KCYS 202157 FWFCYS Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Wyoming/Western Nebraska National Weather Service CHEYENNE WY 357 PM MDT Sat Jul 20 2024 .DISCUSSION... The upper level ridge is expected to continue to build over the area around the middle of next week and flatten out towards the weekend. This will most likely bring hot and dry conditions to the area beginning on Wednesday and continuing through the weekend. Minimum relative humidities will generally range from 10 to 15 percent along with dry fuels. This may bring critical fire weather conditions to this area. Until then, there will be daily chances of afternoon showers and thunderstorms mainly along and east of the Laramie Range.
