...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN HUNTINGDON...
FRANKLIN...SOUTHWESTERN JUNIATA...WESTERN CUMBERLAND AND SOUTHWESTERN
PERRY COUNTIES THROUGH 800 PM EDT...

At 709 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 16 miles southeast of Huntingdon to near
Chambersburg to near Greencastle. Movement was northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Chambersburg, Waynesboro, Shippensburg, Greencastle, Guilford, St.
Thomas, Fayetteville, Wayne Heights, Mont Alto, Mercersburg,
Scotland, Newville, Honey Grove, Rouzerville, Marion, Fort Loudon,
Spruce Hill, East Waterford, Loysville, and Ickesburg.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for central and
south central Pennsylvania.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for
south central Pennsylvania.
