A very warm and humid summertime weather pattern will maintain
above average temperatures across the Keystone State through the
weekend and into next week. Heat index values will likely exceed
100 degrees across portions of south central and southeastern
Pennsylvania again on Saturday.

Showers and thunderstorms will affect the Commonwealth overnight,
but not everyone will see significant rainfall. Rain chances will
decrease through the day Saturday. Expect a rain free end to the
first weekend of July with slightly lower humidity on Sunday. The
odds for rain increase through early next week with thunderstorms
most likely on Tuesday.
