...THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WATERSPOUTS...

At 559 PM EDT, a thunderstorm was located near Edisto Forty Reef, or
7 nm west of N. Edisto Nearshore Reef, moving northeast at 5 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts up to 30 knots.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

Deveaux Bank...                   Saint Helena Sound...

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily
overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe harbor
immediately.
