...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS APPROACHING THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
Waters from Edisto Beach SC to Savannah GA out 20 NM...
Waters from Savannah GA to Altamaha Sound GA out 20 NM, including
Grays Reef National Marine Sanctuary...

* At 537 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms,
  capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These strong
  thunderstorms were located along a line from 7 NM west of Parris
  Island Reef to 7 NM west of Savannah River Entrance, moving
  southeast at 10 knots.

Locations impacted include...
  Gaskin Banks, Gaskins Bank Wreck, Whitewater Reef, Fish America,
  Calibogue Sound, Channel Buoy 5, Savannah River Entrance, Savannah
  Buoy, Port Royal Sound, General Gordon and Wassaw Sound Buoy.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
