...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 515 PM EDT THIS
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Georgia, including the following
  counties, Bryan and Chatham.

* WHEN...Until 515 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 356 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is already occurring in the
    advisory area. Between 3 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Pooler, Richmond Hill, I-16/I-95 Interchange, Hunter Army
    Airfield, Windsor Forest, Savannah International Airport,
    Downtown Savannah, Coffee Bluff, Midtown Savannah and Godley
    Station.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
