Thermal belts will see poor RH recoveries (40%) tonight over the western foothills, otherwise moderate to good recoveries expected tonight. Overall winds tonight will be light. Weak shower/thunderstorm activity over southern portions of the district will bring the potential for gusts up to 35 mph through late this evening, with winds possibly moving well out ahead of the precipitation areas. Another push of northeast winds moving into the area will keep temperatures in the 80s to low 90s and RH values in the 25 to 35 percent range for most areas, especially east of Billings. Any precipitation Tuesday will be along the MT/WY line. Ridging builds into the area for Wednesday through Friday pushing temperatures back toward 100 degrees for the end of the week. Low level easterly winds and monsoonal moisture will keep a chance for afternoon/evening showers and thunderstorms in the forecast each day.
