Showers and thunderstorms are likely this morning with some containing locally heavy rainfall. Hit or miss thunderstorms are then expected to develop midday through the afternoon, mainly in Vermont, and may also produce locally heavy rainfall. Broad rainfall averages across the region are for 0.33 to 0.75 inches of rain, but locally up to an inch and a half will be possible, with the greatest chance for higher rainfall amounts in southern Vermont. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.
