...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL ELBERT AND CENTRAL
ARAPAHOE COUNTIES THROUGH 530 PM MDT...

At 500 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 4
miles southeast of Strasburg, or 34 miles east of Denver, moving
southeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Bennett, Deer Trail, Strasburg, and Byers.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM MDT for
northeastern and east central Colorado.
