...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL LUZERNE COUNTY THROUGH
230 AM EDT...

At 156 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Sugar Notch, or 8 miles southwest of Wilkes-Barre, moving northeast
at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Wilkes-Barre, Kingston, Nanticoke, Plains, Pittston, Plymouth,
Exeter, Swoyersville, West Pittston, and Edwardsville.

This includes the following highway exits...
 Pennsylvania Interstate 81 between 159 and 170A and B.
