...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL BERKSHIRE AND
NORTHEASTERN COLUMBIA COUNTIES THROUGH 415 PM EDT...
At 351 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Austerlitz, or 9 miles southwest of Pittsfield, moving east at 40
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Pittsfield, Great Barrington, Lee, Lenox, New Lebanon, Becket,
Austerlitz, Otis, Housatonic, Hinsdale, Stockbridge, Canaan,
Richmond, West Stockbridge, Monterey, Washington, Alford, Tyringham,
Barkerville, and Glendale.
