This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for east central New York. .DAY ONE...Today and tonight. A cold front moving across the region today will bring showers and thunderstorms. While thunderstorms are anticipated to remain non- severe, there is a threat of heavy downpours that could lead to localized flooding in urban and poor drainage areas. Locally strong wind gusts are also a threat with thunderstorms that develop. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday. Heat index values will again be close to Heat Advisory criteria Sunday through Tuesday in the Capital Region. If confidence increases, a Heat Advisory could be needed.
