...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT CHESTERFIELD...NOTTOWAY...CENTRAL
DINWIDDIE...EASTERN AMELIA AND SOUTHEASTERN POWHATAN COUNTIES THROUGH
730 PM EDT...

At 702 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Powhatan to near Mannboro to near
Nottoway. Movement was east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small trees and blow around
         unsecured objects. Wind impacting handling of high profile
         vehicles.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Blackstone, Moseley, Mannboro, Wilsons, Fort Barfoot, and
  Spainville around 710 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include North Wellville,
Irby, Addison, Earls, Ammon, Pilkinton, Murdocks, Forkland, Darvills,
and Pocahontas State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for
central and south central Virginia.
