...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL ROOSEVELT AND
SOUTHEASTERN CURRY COUNTIES THROUGH 515 PM MDT...

At 441 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Cannon Air Force Base, or 7 miles west of Clovis. This storm was
nearly stationary.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Clovis, Cannon Air Force Base, Ranchvale, Oasis State Park, and
Portair.

This includes Highway 60 between Mile Markers 374 and 390.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
