...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN OGLALA LAKOTA...
WESTERN JACKSON AND SOUTHEASTERN PENNINGTON COUNTIES THROUGH 400 AM
MDT...

At 318 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles east of Badlands National Park, or 39 miles southwest of
Philip, moving southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern
Oglala Lakota, western Jackson and southeastern Pennington Counties,
east of Scenic and southwest of Interior.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
