THUNDERSTORMS WITH DANGEROUS LIGHTNING.
RISK...Elevated.
AREA...Southeast Oklahoma and West Central Arkansas.
ONSET...Ongoing.

DISCUSSION...
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue through this
morning as a cold front moves southward across the area. Severe
weather is not expected with this activity, which will continue
to diminish from the north this afternoon.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
Spotter Activation Not Expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.
SATURDAY...No Hazards.
SUNDAY AND MONDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...Heavy Rain Potential.
TUESDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
At least low thunderstorm chances will exist over the
holiday weekend into the early to middle part of next week as a
series of upper level disturbances move out of the central
Plains. The highest thunderstorm potential is likely to be Sunday
night as a possible complex moves across the area, with an
attendant threat of severe weather and heavy rainfall.
